Privacy Policy — Beer Smash
Effective Date: October 4, 2026 Last Updated: October 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Brent’s Big Damn LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Beer Smash mobile application (“the App”), available for iPhone. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
The short version: Beer Smash runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data. Your game progress and settings stay on your iPhone.
1. Information We Collect
The App is designed not to collect personal information. Beer Smash:
- Does not require account creation, registration, or sign-up
- Does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier
- Does not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
- Makes no network requests of its own and does not transmit data to our servers — we operate no servers for the App (the optional website link described in Section 4 opens in your browser only when you tap it)
Note: While the App itself does not make network requests, your device’s operating system or app distribution platform (the Apple App Store, or Apple’s TestFlight for beta versions) may independently collect certain data related to app installation, purchases, updates, or crash diagnostics. Such collection is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and is outside our control.
Your game progress is stored exclusively on your device. We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve it.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
While we do not collect data, the App stores the following locally on your device so you can keep playing where you left off:
- Game progress: Which levels you have completed, your best score and stars for each level, and which beer styles you have unlocked in the catalog
- Level in progress: A saved snapshot of a level you left before finishing, so you can resume it
- Pending results: A win or loss result that has not yet been shown to you, if the App was interrupted at the end of a level
- App settings: Your music, sound effects, haptics, hints, and Reduce Motion preferences
This data is stored in a file in the App’s private container on your device, isolated from other apps by iOS. It contains no personal information. It is not transmitted to us, and we have no access to it.
3. Device Permissions
Beer Smash requests no device permissions. The App does not ask for, and has no access to:
- Camera or photo library
- Microphone — the App plays music and sound effects but does not record audio
- Location
- Contacts, calendars, or other personal data on your device
- Notifications — the App does not send push notifications
Haptic feedback and audio playback use standard iOS features that do not require permission and do not collect any information.
4. Links Outside the App
Beer Smash contains no network code of its own, but it includes one link that opens outside the App only when you tap it:
- Discover more apps, in Settings → About Beer Smash, opens our website, ginger-apps.com, in your browser
This link is never shown during gameplay and never opens on its own. When you tap it, your browser handles the connection, governed by its own privacy practices. The App sends no information about you or your game with this link.
5. iCloud and Backups
Beer Smash does not use iCloud, Game Center, or any other online sync or gaming service. Your progress is not synced between devices.
Your device’s own iCloud or computer backups may include the App’s local data, depending on your device settings. Those backups are controlled by you and governed by Apple’s policies. We have no access to your iCloud account or its contents.
6. Advertising and In-App Purchases
Beer Smash displays no advertisements and offers no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paid boosters. Because there are no ads or purchases inside the App, no advertising or payment information is collected or processed by the App.
7. Third-Party Services
Beer Smash contains no third-party services, SDKs, or dependencies of any kind. The App:
- Includes no third-party libraries — it is built solely on Apple’s own system frameworks (SwiftUI, SpriteKit, and related APIs), all of which run on-device
- Displays no advertisements
- Integrates with no analytics platforms
- Uses no crash reporting or diagnostics service
- Connects to no cloud services, backends, leaderboards, or external APIs
All levels, artwork, music, and sound effects are bundled inside the App.
8. Analytics and Tracking
We do not track users for analytics, advertising, or behavioral profiling. Beer Smash:
- Contains no analytics or telemetry of any kind
- Does not use cookies, pixels, beacons, or fingerprinting
- Does not participate in any advertising or tracking networks
- Does not collect usage statistics, gameplay data, crash reports, or performance data
We have zero visibility into how, when, or whether you play the App.
9. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Because the App operates entirely on your device and we collect no user data:
- No user data is shared with third parties by us
- No data is sold to data brokers or advertisers
- No data is disclosed to affiliates or business partners
- We do not possess user data that could be produced in response to legal requests
Note: Apple may independently collect and share data related to your use of its platform and the App Store. Please refer to Apple’s privacy policy for details.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
All data created by the App resides on your device and is entirely under your control.
- Retention: Your progress and settings are kept on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. We have no role in retention because we never possess your data.
- Resetting progress: Settings → Reset progress permanently removes your saved levels, stars, and settings from your iPhone after you confirm. This cannot be undone.
- App uninstallation: Uninstalling the App removes its local data from your device, subject to your device’s operating system and backup settings.
11. Children’s Privacy
Beer Smash uses a fictional, pub-inspired beer theme and is intended for an adult audience. It does not depict drinking or encourage the consumption of alcohol.
Beer Smash does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since the App does not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age, there is no children’s data at risk.
If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns about your child’s use of the App, please contact us at support.bbdllc@gmail.com.
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions regarding minors, and similar applicable laws.
12. Your Rights Under GDPR

- Rectify inaccurate personal data
- Erase your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)

Because Beer Smash operates entirely on your device and transmits no user data to us, we do not process personal data on our systems. As a result, we do not hold personal data about you that would be subject to these rights.
All data created in the App is on your device and under your exclusive control. You may delete it at any time through Settings → Reset progress or by uninstalling the App.
Platform controllers: Apple acts as an independent data controller for data it collects through the App Store, TestFlight, and iOS (e.g., purchase history, crash diagnostics). For information about Apple’s data practices, please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.
If you have questions about your rights, you may contact us at support.bbdllc@gmail.com.

- Delete personal information held by a business
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information

- We do not collect or process sensitive personal information, including precise geolocation.
For questions, contact us at support.bbdllc@gmail.com.
14. International Data Transfers
Beer Smash operates entirely on your device and transmits no user data to our servers. Your data remains on your device and is not transferred internationally by us. Any data processing performed by Apple in connection with app distribution is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
15. Security
The App is built so that your data never has to travel:
- No network surface: The App makes no network requests of its own, eliminating network-based interception entirely
- No third-party code: No external SDKs that could collect or exfiltrate data
- OS-level isolation: Data is stored in the App’s private container, which iOS isolates from other apps
- Device encryption: Files in the App’s container are protected by iOS Data Protection, which encrypts device storage when you have a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID enabled
- No credentials to steal: There is no account, password, or access token associated with the App
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and, where practicable, through an in-app notice.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy. Your continued use of the App after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
17. App Store Supplemental Disclosures
