Zuno for iPhone & iPad

Text adventure for iOS and iPadOS

Zuno is a text adventure built natively for iPhone and iPad. Explore the abandoned Tideglass Observatory, collect clues and curious objects, and solve a chain of puzzles to restore its forgotten beacon — by typing commands, tapping actions, or both.

How to play Zuno on iPhone and iPad

Tap New journey on the welcome screen, then read the opening scene. Type a command such as read letter or north in the command field and tap Send — or tap one of the context actions or Go buttons below the story. Use the Map, Inventory, and Journal to keep track of where you’ve been and what you’ve found, and tap Hint whenever you want a nudge.

Built for iPhone and iPad

  • Native SwiftUI — a reading-first layout on iPhone, with panels side by side on iPad
  • Portrait or landscape — on every device, with Split View and Slide Over on iPad
  • Command field tuned for play — no autocorrect or auto-capitalization getting in the way, and the keyboard stays up between commands
  • Hardware keyboard shortcuts — ⌘S save, ⌘Z undo, ⌘/ help, ⌘⇧H hint, ⌘L focus the command field
  • Accessibility — VoiceOver announcements for new responses, rotors for exits and context actions, a text list version of the map, Dynamic Type up to the largest accessibility sizes, Increase Contrast, and Reduce Motion
  • Files integration — export and import saves through the Files app

Help when you want it

  • Progressive hints — three per puzzle, revealed one at a time
  • Undo — up to 50 steps back
  • Journal — every clue, grouped by location
  • Discovery map — rooms revealed as you visit them

Completely offline
