Opening the App

The app opens as a fully working calculator. It looks and acts like a normal calculator to anyone who picks it up. Your vaults are completely hidden.

First-Time Setup

The first time you open the app you will be prompted to create an admin PIN (4–8 digits). This PIN gives you access to the admin panel. Keep it secret and memorable — it cannot be recovered if forgotten.

Creating a Vault

In the admin panel, tap Create New Vault. Enter a name (e.g. Personal, Work) and a unique 4–8 digit PIN. Each vault has its own PIN and is independently encrypted. You can create multiple vaults.

Unlocking a Vault

On the calculator screen, type your vault’s PIN using the number buttons, then press =. If the PIN matches a vault, it opens automatically. Otherwise the calculator performs the calculation normally.

Accessing the Admin Panel

On the calculator screen, type your admin PIN and press =. This opens the admin panel where you can manage vaults, view break-in logs, and change security settings.

Saving Photos

Inside a vault, tap the Photos tab. Tap + to import photos from your camera roll. Select one or multiple photos — they are encrypted and moved into the vault. You can optionally delete the originals from your camera roll after importing.

Saving Videos

Tap the Videos tab inside a vault, then tap + to import videos from your device. Videos are encrypted and stored securely. Tap any video to play it directly inside the app.

Saving Documents

Tap the Docs tab and tap + to import any file from your device (PDFs, Word docs, spreadsheets, etc.). Documents are encrypted and can be shared or exported from within the app.

Writing Notes

Tap the Notes tab and tap + to create a new note. Give it a title and write your content. Notes are encrypted with the rest of your vault. Tap a note to edit it.

Storing Contacts

Tap the Contacts tab and tap + to add a contact. Store name, phone, email, and other details privately. Contacts are only visible when the vault is unlocked.

Storing Passwords

Tap the Passwords tab and tap + to save a password entry. Store the service name, username, URL, password, and notes. Tap the eye icon to reveal a password, or tap the copy icon to copy it — it clears from your clipboard automatically after 30 seconds.

Exporting Files

In Photos or Videos, long-press any item to enter selection mode. Select one or more files, then tap Save to export back to your camera roll, or tap Share to send via another app.

Changing a Vault PIN

In the admin panel, tap the key icon next to a vault. Enter the current PIN and your new PIN twice to confirm. All vault files are automatically re-encrypted with the new PIN.

Locking the App

Tap the lock icon in the top-right corner of any vault screen to immediately lock and return to the calculator. The app also locks automatically whenever it goes to the background.

Intruder Detection

When enabled, anyone who types the wrong PIN on the calculator will have their photo silently captured using the front camera. The photo and timestamp are saved to the Break-in Log in the admin panel.

Factory Reset

Permanently deletes all vaults, all stored files, and resets all settings. Use this if you need to wipe the app completely. This cannot be undone.
